The Bachelor Degree in Business Administration program provides students with hands-on experience via close links to the industry. AUS is leading the charge in skills for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) through integrating the hard and soft skills our students will need to be competitive in the coming decades. Key learning methods to promote 4IR skills development are instilled in the program.
At AUS students from over 44 nationalities come together and share their personal and professional experiences guided by professors who work in their field of specialization.
Through experiential and student-centered learning students are exposed to real-life scenarios and case studies allowing them to develop skills needed to be competitive in the upcoming decades. This applied experience is in stark contrast to many university professors focused solely on theory or outdated methodologies.
The degree starts with several foundation courses. These are followed by core business courses that give students a solid grasp of the fundamentals of business such as Finance, Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Students will then dive further into their modules and learn application of theory to ensure of comprehensive understanding of the impact their knowledge can have.
The American University in Switzerland and Tiffin University, based in Ohio, United States are delighted to offer students the opportunity to receive a degree from Tiffin University in addition to their bachelor’s degree from AUS. Students will have the opportunity to complete dual degrees in a range of subject areas including; management and international business, sports management and sports marketing, and sports management and athletic administration. During their degree students must undertake at least one internship. Students are support by our dedicated careers team and faculty to ensure they can find an internship relevant to their career path. Students are also encouraged to undertake additional internships in other fundamental business areas in order to broader their experience and enhance their CV.
