We are delighted to announce that the American University in Switzerland (AUS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the distinguished Tiffin University, situated in the State of Ohio, in the United States of America. This partnership will allow AUS and Tiffin University to collaborate on a variety of aspects such as: student exchange with the possibility of dual-degree programs, the exchange of experts in the field, and the development of research projects that will bring with them new opportunities to enrich faculty and student experiences.
Tiffin University is excited by the opportunity to partner with AUS. This alliance allows us to enhance the global perspective of our respective students and faculty members. Both Tiffin University and the American University in Switzerland have very similar missions, objectives and approaches to education. This can be demonstrated through their ECBE (the European Council for Business Education) accreditation. ECBE is a leading European accreditation agency which is committed to supporting academic and professional learning institutions in economics, business and related fields. It encourages and supports educational institutions to commit themselves to continuous improvement. Furthermore, it provides a range of services which enhance the learning environment significantly and create career opportunities for students.
At AUS and Tiffin we put our students at the center of what we do and we prepare them with the knowledge, tools, skills and expertise that are required in the management and creation of the businesses of tomorrow. A key component in this educational experience is allowing our respective students to have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in an international environment while at the same time providing them with the opportunity to obtain a dual degree. The building of partnerships with international institutions around the world is thus of paramount importance.
Whether it is attending a seminar or participating in a module by guest professors coming from one of our partner institutions, enjoying a semester or more doing an international internship, we urge our students to take advantage of some of these opportunities to acquire lifelong knowledge.
Also, our staff and professors are also encouraged to take advantage of international partnerships and expand their competencies by taking courses, teaching and doing research with colleagues from partner universities.
Should you want any further information about our partnership with Tiffin University, the AUS team remains at your complete disposal.
